The Arts Business Institute is coming to Hawaii! Join us for one of these two exciting workshops and learn how to take your small business to a national level.
Artists in Hawaii have a rare opportunity to attend workshops on Maui (September 9-10) and Oahu (September 12-13) presented by The Arts Business Institute. These intensive two-day learning events include high-level strategies to grow profitable small businesses. Topics presented include How to Wholesale, Product Development, Creative Marketing, Sales Techniques and Strategies, and more. Participants will engage in a panel discussion with successful Hawaiian artists, and also be able to schedule personalized critiques and consultations with workshop faculty.
An emphasis of these workshops on Maui and Oahu is growing your arts business beyond the boundaries of the Hawaiian Islands. Statistics show that throughout the US, artists and craft professionals who rely on local fairs and farmers markets earn about half of what they would earn if they could balance their local sales with selling to galleries and shops nationwide. With the demand for handmade and with Made in America products growing at a fast pace, Hawaii’s artists are uniquely positioned to leveraged those trends for their own benefit.
Early registration offers a $50 discount on each event. Individual critique appointments are very limited and book up quickly. Visit our workshop pages for the Maui workshop and the Oahu workshop for more information and to register.
