Bridges to Santa Fe and The Arts Business Institute will sponsor a two-day Art Business Summit on the weekend of April 1-2, 2017 at Form and Concept in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A welcome gallery reception will be held on Friday, March 31 at Blue Rain Gallery Downtown, featuring speaker Elizabeth Hulings, the director of the Clark Hulings Fund for Visual Artists.
Presentations will be made on topics for visual artists, makers and arts educators at this event. Speakers are Wendy Rosen, Founder of The Arts Business Institute, Carolyn Edlund, ABI Executive Director, and attorney Talia Kosh of the Bennett Law Group in Santa Fe.
Topics will include: The New Marketplace, Pricing for Profit, Marketing Strategies for Artists, Copyright Protection, Wholesaling, Art Licensing, The Corporate Art Market, and more, as well as an expert panel discussion. Individual consultation appointments are available on a limited first-come, first-serve basis.
The program will provide lunch for attendees each day, as well as continental breakfast and evening receptions.
